A Charles City man has entered a guilty plea after being caught with methamphetamine in Osage last August, according to KIMT. 54 year old Mitchell King was the passenger in a car that was pulled over for a defective muffler. Law enforcement noticed assorted drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and a K9 indicated the presence of illegal drugs. A search of the vehicle uncovered a backpack belonging to King that had 110 grams of meth, a scale with meth residue, packaging material, and $572 in small bills. King was charged with a Controlled Substance Violation and Failure to Use a Drug Tax Stamp.
