A Charles City man has been arrested after allegedly robbing two apartments, according to KIMT. The first robbery happened on January 4th. 29 year old Franklin Foster is accused of using a box cutter to assault two male victims inside the apartment. He then threatened two people the next day to provide him an alibi for the burglary. On January 7th Foster allegedly broke into a second apartment, this time armed with a handgun, and robbed two victims. Police say Foster took the cell phones of the victims of both home invasions so that they could not call police. He has been charged with two counts of first degree Robbery, two counts of first degree Burglary, two counts of False Imprisonment, two counts of Tampering with a Witness, and four counts of Obstructing Emergency Communication.
