A Charles City man has been arrested and charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, according to KIMT. 33 year old Dakota Janssen is accused of sexually abusing a child on at least three occasions between November of 2018 and July of 2025. Investigators say Janssen engaged in sex acts that were either done with force or against the will of the victim. He faces up to 25 years in prison and is being held in the Floyd County Jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.
