A Charles City man has been charged with three controlled substance violations, according to KIMT. 20 year old Samuel Kiewel was the front seat passenger in a car that was pulled over on November 20th. The arresting officer indicated a strong smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Kiewel surrendered an illegal drug and the device to inhale it. A further search of the vehicle found four squares of acid, a glass jar containing 4 grams of marijuana concentrate, and 24 packages of gummies. Kiewel admitted they were selling the concentrate and gummies for profit. He is being held in the Floyd County Jail on $35,000 bond.
