A Charles City man accused of trying to strangle a woman and breaking her car window has entered a plea of not guilty, according to KIMT. 36 year old Dean Naeve has been charged with first degree Burglary, Domestic Abuse Assault- Strangulation, and fourth degree Criminal Mischief. Back on September 28th Naeve and the woman got into an argument. Naeve is accused of grabbing, hitting, and choking the woman. He then tried to take her purse. The woman was able to escape to her vehicle and lock the doors but Naeve hit the driver’s side window until the glass shattered. The woman was left several small cuts to her arms and hands.
