A Charles City man accused of sexually abusing a child on several occasions has pleaded to a lesser charge, according to KIMT. 42 year old Cory Poyner has pleaded guilty to Lascivious Acts With a Child. Law enforcement accused Poyner of having sexual contact with a minor at the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022. Poyner has been ordered to spend 180 days at a residential correctional facility, complete all recommended sex offender treatment, and be under supervised probation for two to five years.
