A Charles City woman has been jailed after two assaults involving her vehicle, according to KIMT. 25 year old Tanara Harris was giving an unnamed passenger a ride last Wednesday when an argument between the two allegedly broke out leading to Harris punching the passenger in the nose, causing it to bleed. Then two days later Harris was allegedly following a woman in her car. When the other woman stopped her car and opened the door, Harris is accused of smashing into it. Harris then backed up and waited for the victim to get out of her vehicle. Once she got out and started to run, Harris allegedly hit the victim, launching her onto the hood of her vehicle. Police say Harris then got out of her vehicle, threw the victim to the ground and kicked her in the face. The victim was taken to the Floyd County Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Harris has been charged with Assault Causing Injury and Willful Injury. She is being held on a $5,000 bond.
