A 12 year old was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Waverly on Friday night. According to the Iowa State Patrol the 12 year old was crossing 4th St SW at 7th Ave SW around 7:00 Friday night when they were hit by a Honda CRV driven by 57 year old Eric Pruhs of Waverly. The child was taken by ambulance to Allen Hospital. Authorities are not releasing the name of the child at this time but the child’s aunt says she is now in Iowa City in the ICU and is sedated but in stable condition.. The accident is still under investigation at this time.
