A Hampton man who had been convicted of sexually abusing a seven year old girl in Black Hawk County has died in prison, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 53 year old Chad Burmeister was serving concurrent 25 and 30 year sentences for state sex abuse charges and federal child porn charges at the Newton Correctional Facility after being convicted of photographing himself sexually abusing the girl in 2004. He had been incarcerated since 2007. His cause of death was not released.
