Beginning Monday, December 28th through January 11th the City of Waverly’s Public Works Department will be assisting in the disposal of Christmas trees for residents. Trees must be placed at the curb in front of the resident’s home. Trees placed in alleyways will not be collected. Tinsel, decorations, and plastic tree bags must be removed before the trees can be picked up. Wreaths and garland will also be collected at this time. The City will not pick up any trees after January 11th.
