The City of Waverly has issued a social media policy for itself and those interacting with the city’s social media. The policy limits who can speak on behalf of the city on its social media and sets guidelines for when comments are to be ruled out of line and illegible to be removed, such as vulgarity, sexual content, comments not related to the original topic, defamatory or personal attacks, threats, solicitation of commerce and more.
