The City of Waterloo has announced that all City offices will be closed on Monday, January 1st. Monday garbage collection will be moved back to Tuesday. They ask that garbage carts be at the curbside by 6am and not overloaded. There will also not be any recycling collection on the 1st. All recycling curbside pickup will be postponed by one day, Monday to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday, and so on. Denver’s garbage and recycling will also not be collected on the 1st, but will on the 2nd. The City of Denver has also announced that Christmas Tree pickup will be on January 3rd. They ask that you remove all items from your tree and place it at the curb of your front yard. Fairbank’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on the 2nd. Containers should be at the curb by 7am. In Waverly, today’s garbage will be picked up tomorrow. Next Monday’s garbage will be collected on the 2nd.
