Clarksville may be getting a Mexican restaurant, according to KWWL. The owner of a food truck says they are looking to add a brick and mortar location in Clarksville. Jessica Rivera, who owns and operates Maria’s Tacos, says they plan to open the restaurant in the former Clarksville Hometown Grocery on Main Street. Rivera says opening a restaurant has always been something she has dreamed of doing and that it will allow the business to stay open all year. Currently, the food truck operates only in the warmer months. The property owner is working with an architect to make the space work with the living spaces above what will be the restaurant. If permits get approved, Maria’s Tacos will open in Clarksville by the end of this year.
