An informational meeting regarding the proposed CO2 pipeline through the KWAY area will be held on Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Waverly Area Veterans Post. There will be several speakers at the event including landowner Kim Junker, Iowa House Representative Charley Thomson of Charles City, Sierra Club Representative Jess Mazour, retired professor of calculus based physics and chemistry Jeff Steinbronn, former US House Representative Steve King, and Iowa Senator Sandy Salmon of Janesville.
