Several citizens have contacted the Waverly Police Department on issues motorists are having while navigating Bremer Ave’s construction zone. Common issues include east-bound travelers driving through the left-turn-only lane on 1st St SE and turning left from 8th St NE onto Bremer which is one-way to the right.
Chief Pursell assures us they are aware of these issues and are trying to figure out a solution:
Pursell adds that they try to keep at least two officers in the area to respond to such incidents, but it is difficult to continually monitor the area.
