Conrad Man Charged with Murder

A Conrad man has been arrested for allegedly perpetrating a deadly shooting in Hudson last year, according to KWWL. Police were called to an apartment on South Washington Street on July 14th of 2024. There they found 35 year old Zachary Drinovsky suffering form multiple gunshot wounds. Drinovsky died shortly after officers arrived on scene. 51 year old Jacob Hamilton admitted to shooting Drinovsky but claimed it was self-defense. The Iowa Attorney General’s Office claims that Hamilton “re-armed, re-engaged outside, and intentionally killed the victim willfully, deliberately, and with premeditation, without legal justification.” Hamilton has been charged with first degree Murder. He is being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on a $1million bond.
