A construction project starting this morning will close part of a busy Waterloo road until late next year. The project is on U.S. 63 between Franklin and Newell Streets. This area will close Monday, March 5 at 8:00 a.m. and won’t reopen until November of 2019. Work will include demolishing the pedestrian bridge, building a bridge to carry vehicle traffic over the railroad and replacing utilities and pavement.
