Two women have been arrested for allegedly stealing copper from Crystal Distribution in Waterloo, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police say they witnessed 39 year old Jill Denker, of Evansdale, and 47 year old Lucille Graham, of Waterloo, enter the warehouse at around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. They reemerged from the building four hours later and allegedly placed a bag into the bed of truck parked on East 11th Street. When police pulled the truck over, they found the bag filled with copper wire and tools. Both women have been charged with third degree Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools.
