Council Member’s Theft Case is Resolved

A Waterloo City Council member has had her Theft case in Des Moines resolved, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 31 year old Nia Wilder was arrested in November and charged with 4th degree Theft after allegedly scanning and then deleting $420 worth of merchandise at a Walmart in Des Moines. Court documents indicate a plea deal has been struck, although the details of that agreement have not yet been made public. Wilder posted a picture of her and her lawyer on Facebook with text in all caps that reads, “CASE RESOLVED!!”
