The Waverly City Council will meet Monday night over ZOOM at 7:00. The major issue on Monday’s agenda is how to fill a soon to be vacant seat on the council. Councilman Kris Glaser will be moving and his Ward 2 seat can be filled either by council appointment or a special election.
Mayor Adam Hoffman tells us when the decision will be made.
Hoffman told us he knows of four who have made their interest in representing Ward 2 known as of Monday morning. Glaser’s will vacate the seat on May 31st. An election could be decided with the winner in place by June 1st and an appointee could be decided sooner than that. Glaser was elected in 2019.
