A counselor in Cedar Falls has been arrested for allegedly touching a 14 year old girl inappropriately during a counseling session, according to KWWL. 64 year old Scott Harrison was a long time pastor who started Fresh Hope Christian Counseling. On August 31st he had a session with the girl who was self-conscious about her stomach. She told Harrison she tries to suck in her stomach and got up to demonstrate. Harrison then touched her stomach before moving his hands to her buttocks and her breasts. He then told the girl she was turning him on. The victim pushed his hands away and left the building to her mother who was waiting for her. Her mother went back in and confronted Harrison who said it was inappropriate and he should not have done it. He cancelled any future sessions and asked for forgiveness. Harrison told Police he was “totally taken by temptation.” He is not currently listed as in custody in the Black Hawk County Jail but is scheduled to be in court on September 24th.
