When Governor Reynolds announced that beginning Friday she would ease restrictions in 77 counties in the state she also announced an exemption for religious gatherings in all counties. The Black Hawk County Health Department is encouraging faith communities there to not meet in person. They posted on Facebook yesterday encouraging those communities to continue to meet virtually rather than in person in an attempt to continue to slow the spread of coronavirus. Black Hawk County has been one of the counties hardest hit by the virus with over 1,300 confirmed cases and at least 13 deaths.
