A Black Hawk County Supervisor has been arrested for a new count of sexual abuse, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 46 year old Christopher Schwartz is already awaiting trial for two counts of third degree Sexual Abuse. He has now been charged with a third count of third degree Sexual Abuse for an incident that allegedly happened in August of 2024. The victim alleges that Schwartz performed a sex act on the man against his will. The previous charges stem from an alleged incident in August of 2023 when Schwartz allegedly performed a sex act on another man while the man was incapacitated. Trial in that case is set for July. Schwartz posted bond and has been released from custody. He has remained on the Board of Supervisors through his arrests. He is currently in his third term in that role but that comes to an end this year and he has announced that he will not run for reelection.
