Black Hawk County Supervisor Chris Schwartz announced Tuesday on his Facebook page that his husband, Logun Buckley, had taken his own life. Schwartz described Buckley as “brilliant and talented and full of love”. Schwartz and Buckley were just married in October. Buckley was an organizer for the Iowa Alliance of Retired Americans and advocated for affordable prescription drug prices.
