Crash Landing

A small, corporate jet that departed from the Waterloo Regional Airport crash landed in Arkansas Tuesday, injuring two, according to KWWL. There were a total of seven people on board the 2007 twin engine corporate Learjet45 owned by Michigan Cat Aviation. The jet experienced a malfunction with its landing gear and made a crash landing just short of Highway 167 in Batesville, Arkansas. The plane had arrived in Waterloo around 10:20am from Batesville and then departed just shy of 6:00 p.m. It is unclear if any of those on board the plane were from Iowa.
