An accident south of Waterloo sent multiple people to the hospital Saturday night, according to KWWL. The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office was sent to the intersection of Hawkeye Road and East Tama Road around 7:40 p.m. Saturday. They found that a Honda Accord and an Infinity QX6 had collided. The driver, and only occupant, of the Accord was transported to MercyOne Waterloo with severe injuries. Occupants of the QX6 were taken to the hospital by a private vehicle, however it is unknown how many and what their injuries are. The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
