According to KWWL a man’s cremains were stolen during a recent Dike burglary.
According to his family, 65-year-old Daniel Evanson, of Dike, passed away February 6. His home was broken into sometime between the night of Friday, the 14th to early Saturday, the 15th. Among the items taken, Evanson’s cremains in a wooden box.
Family members have been driving on roads around Evanson’s farm, in hopes the person who took them put the wooden box somewhere in the area if they realized they were someone’s cremains. The family is hopeful whoever it is, will do the right thing.
