Cresco Man Pleads Not-Guilty

Cresco man has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges resulting from an incident back in March. 29 year old Richard Ogle II has been charged with attempted murder, eluding, going armed with intent, two counts of control of a firearm by a felon, domestic abuse assault, carrying weapons, OWI, and possession of dangerous weapons while under the influence. According to law enforcement they were called to a home on March 16 where Ogle was allegedly holding a woman with a gun to her head. When they arrived they were made aware that Ogle was armed and still in the house. Ogle however slipped out of the house and into a car. During a 14 mile pursuit with speeds exceeding 100 mph, Ogle allegedly fired at least one shot at the police. He eventually came to a stop on Highway 9 near Ridgeway. A breath test showed Ogle had a blood alcohol content of .118. He will go to trial on June 26.
