CUNA Mutual here in Waverly has announced that they will eliminate at least 35 positions. The layoffs will take place gradually over the next 6 to 9 months and will affect those in the consumer call center. CUNA says they are switching those services to a company called Sutherland. A spokesperson says the layoffs are in response to aggressive growth goals they have in place. Some of the affected employees will be able to apply for other positions within the company.
