CVS is providing a COVID-19 test site at its location at 205 Franklin St. in Waterloo, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. To get a test patients need to first register at CVS.com to schedule an appointment. Then once they arrive they are asked to wait in their cars before being directed tot he drive thru window. They will be provided with the self swab test kit there and given directions on how utilize the kit. The test will then be sent to an independent third party lab with results returned in 24-48 hours. CVS set up six testing sites throughout the state after Test Iowa shut down their operation. The other locations are in Council Bluffs, two in Des Moines, Fort Dodge, and Iowa City.
