The Little Island Child Care Center in Fairbank had to be locked down Wednesday as law enforcement surrounded a nearby home, according to KWWL. Deputies from Buchanan County were searching for 36 year old Christopher Becker, who was wanted on multiple warrants. Authorities surrounded the home he was in around 11 am yesterday. Becker is known to arm himself but was taken into custody without incident Wednesday.
