Cedar Falls Police are investigating a shooting in downtown Cedar Falls that took the life of one individual. The shooting happened in an apartment above the Los Cabos Restaurant around 9:15 Wednesday night. The suspect or suspects fled the scene before police could arrive. The victim’s name has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin. Police say they do not believe that the public is in any danger at this time. The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
