Dealer Sentence for Selling Drug That Killed Nashua Woman

A St. Ansgar man has been sentenced to federal prison time after selling a Nashua woman methamphetamine, which killed her, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 43 year old Eric Young was sentenced up to 14 years in prison on a charge of Distribution of Methamphetamine. He then will be on supervised release for three years. Authorities say Young sold $90 worth of meth to the woman in March of 2021. She used the drug, began vomiting and became unconscious. Young attempted CPR and called a friend who called 911. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
