A Decorah man has been arrested after allegedly threatening a parole officer in an attempt to influence their testimony in an upcoming court case, according to KCRG. The parole officer contacted the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office on September 18th after receiving a text that allegedly threatened to harm the officer and their family. The number that sent the text was traced back to 40 year old Chase Telsrow. A search of Telsrow’s residence turned up THC, meth, and unlawfully possessed prescription drugs. Telsrow has been charged with Tampering with a Witness or Juror, 1st degree Harassment, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd or subsequent offense, and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs.
