Deere and Company has acquired a company that develops autonomous driving technology, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Deere has purchased Bear Flag Robotics for $250 million. Bear Flag is a startup that focuses on developing autonomous driving technology for existing machines. The deal will help accelerate Deere’s strategy to create smarter machines with advanced technology. Deere and Bear Flag began collaborating on a small scale in 2019. Bear Flag is based in Silicon Valley and will stay there after the acquisition.
