Denver Fireworks Ordinance

The City of Denver has updated the dates and times in which fireworks may be discharged within city limits. Fireworks are legal to use between June 25th and July 8th and December 24th to January 1st of each year. Between June 25th and July 2nd and July 5th to the 8th fireworks can be set off from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. On July 3rd they can be used from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. unless it is the Saturday or Sunday preceding the 4th, then they can be used from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.. On July 4th, no matter when it falls, fireworks are legal from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.. From December 24th to the 30th fireworks are allowed from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. December 31st going into January 1st fireworks can be discharged from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
