A Denver man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a UTV from Willow Run Country Club and breaking into vehicles and businesses in Waterloo, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 36 year old Aaron Thurm was seen driving the missing UTV in the parking lot of D and G Metalworks in Waterloo just after 10:00 a.m. Thursday. He allegedly tried to enter vehicles parked there. Then, just after 3:30 p.m. there was a break in reported at the concession stand in George Wyth State Park, which is operated by Maxx Rentals. A Pelican kayak, two cases of pop, beach towels, and potato chips were reported missing. Those items were found in a trailer stolen from Hawkeye Motor Sport parked on West Donald Street. Police say Thurm was responsible for those thefts. He has been charged with third degree Burglary, fifth degree Criminal Mischief, Attempted Burglary to a Vehicle and two counts of first degree Theft.
