A Denver man has been arrested for allegedly driving drunk outside of La Porte City on Monday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. A La Porte City officer noticed a GMC Sierra weaving in and out of its lane on Brandon Road at around 9:40 p.m. and attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused to stop. A chase ensued, quickly joined by Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Deputies. Eventually the driver, identified as 20 year old Gianni Gleason, pulled over at the intersection of South Canfield Road and Brandon Road. Gleason blew a .273 on a breath test, more than three times the legal limit to drive. He has been charged with second offense OWI.
