A Denver Community School student has been expelled but very few other details have been made available, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. An expulsion hearing was held on June 9th after which the paper contacted Superintendent Brad Laures who was unable to provide any details. On Wednesday the minutes from the meeting were made public. Very few details were included and again Laures was prevented from disclosing much information due to state and federal laws. Whatever the incident was, it likely occurred within 10 days of the expulsion hearing since that is the limit for punishments done without school board authority.
