A Denver woman was air-lifted to the hospital after her vehicle collided with another vehicle Thursday night.
The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 7:30 p.m. at Dunkerton and Wagner roads, where they found 24-year-old Lindsey Wagner unresponsive.
First responders took Wagner to a nearby hospital and later air-lifted her to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Investigators believe Wagner was driving northbound, when a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Rickey Cook of Waukon failed to yield or stop at the intersection, causing the vehicle to crash and go into a ditch.
Cook and his passenger were treated on scene for minor injuries.
Cook was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
