The city council of Dike has decided to close the community pool for the season. They say they will use this Summer to evaluate the condition of the pool and bring in professionals to evaluate repairs and cost. The council will then be presented with findings during an upcoming council meeting. They say the safety of the community members was one of the driving factors behind the decision. Waverly earlier announced that they would not be opening their pool this season due to needed repairs and the financial state the city finds itself in at the current moment. Plans are still in place to build a new pool, however.
