Dike-New Hartford Schools have received a $10,000 grant to improve STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education.
The grant came from the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education Program, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund.
The school plans to use the fund to bolster its high school’s FIRST Robotics program. The students will use STEM skills to design and build a robot that will compete in the 2017 FIRST Robotics competition.
Farmers in the Dike and New Hartford areas nominated the school district for the grant.
