The City of Waverly will be collecting live Christmas trees beginning today through January 9th. To take advantage of the free service you must remove all tinsel, decorations and plastic from the tree and set the tree by the curb. The trees will be collected on your trash day. Artificial trees can be disposed of at the recycling center. The City of Waverly also accepts old and broken strings of Christmas lights at the recycling center. The wire will be recycled.
