Results from DNA testing on a body found in La Porte City will be released Wednesday. Nearly two weeks ago, the Black Hawk Sheriff’s Office confirmed human remains were found around Wolf Creek. Investigators have been waiting for that DNA confirmation, but they also say the remains are consistent in what they’ve been looking for in the search for Jake Wilson. The 16-year-old was last seen in April, after going for a walk to Wolf Creek. A news conference will be held at the La Porte City Fire Station Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
