Another Waterloo woman has been arrested for allegedly neglecting dogs, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Waterloo Police were called to the home of 32 year old Danshea Montgomery on April 26th after her 16 year old son was injured and charged in a shooting. During the investigation, police noticed three pit bull mixes in a kennel in the kitchen. The officers reported that they could see the dogs’ ribs and fecal matter on their coats. A veterinarian determined the dogs were malnourished, had long tails, and dirty coats. Montgomery was charged with three counts of misdemeanor Animal Neglect.
