A man who had been deported twice before being found living in Waterloo in May has been sentenced to prison time, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 29 year old Gabriel Marceleno-Lopez was arrested in May after police were aclled for an alleged assault. Marceleno-Lopez gave them a fake name and tried to run but police were able to capture him and identify him by his tattoos. He robbed a bank in Dodge City, Kansas in 2012. For that crime he was deported back to Mexico. He was then found to be back in Kansas in 2014. He was charged with Illegal Re-entry and deported again in 2017. He was sentenced on Friday to one year in prison again for Illegal Re-entry. He still faces charges in connection to the assault in May.
