Intimidation charges that had been dropped have been reinstated against a Waterloo man who allegedly shot his girlfriends home in a drive-by shooting, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police say that 20 year old Marshall Polk fired his gun as his grandmother drove by the home. Police pulled the grandmother over a short time later, at which point Polk fled. He was apprehended and the gun was found discarded along the way. Charges of Intimidation, Going Armed, Assault and Carrying Weapons were filed but later dropped as Polk pled guilty on April 11th to a charge of Drug User in Possession of a Firearm. He was sentenced to two years in prison. The initial charges have now been reinstated and his bond has been set at $50,000. It is unclear why they were reinstated.
