Three people were arrested in Oelwein after a search warrant on Saturday night, according to KWWL. The search warrant was executed just before 9:00 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street SE. Illegal drugs and paraphernalia were allegedly found in the search. 49 year old Tonya Pennington has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 46 year old Donald Ohrt has been charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Interference With Official Acts. 28 year old Christopher White has been charged with Possession of Marijuana. Oelwein Police say that additional charges are pending.
