A Dunkerton man has been arrested after leading Cedar Falls Police on a chase yesterday afternoon. Officers made contact with 27 year old Cory Erks in the Goodwill parking lot on University Avenue. While speaking with officers Erks allegedly fled in his vehicle. He then allegedly led police on a chase until he struck a tree at 7th Street and State Street. He was charged with Eluding, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Control, and Interference with Official Acts. He also was wanted for Eluding, Reckless Driving, Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device and Failure to Use Headlamps When Required.
