A Dunkerton student has died as a result of a crash with a semi Tuesday morning. 15 year old Ciara Crisman was traveling east on Independence Avenue at around 7:40 Tuesday morning when she pulled out in front of a semi traveling south on South Canfield Road. Crisman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi, 35 year old Travis Rink of Clarion, was uninjured in the crash. A GoFundMe has been set up to help cover funeral expenses and provide financial relief for Crisman’s mother, Erica Widdel. The GoFundMe, titled “In Memory of Ciara: Support for Erica”, has already raised nearly $12,000 as of 5:00 Wednesday morning.
